Butterflies make my imagination take flight...

I drive the Tour Tram  for the Alligator River Wildlife Refuge in North Carolina, as a lover of nature all my life and photographer I have been blessed with a volunteer job that allows me to mesh all of the above.  I have experienced such glorious exposure to the beautiful and sometimes funny moments of nature and record them in my soul and with my camera.

This week I shot some beautiful photos of butterflies I wanted to share with you and soon they will become my art....Enjoy and stop to look at the little things around you in life.

These beautiful Monarchs are feasting on a natural wet land bush that grows in the Pocosin at ARWR, it is called    Lizard's Tail  to learn more click on the link

I posted this photo to show you how far I actually was away from them...I love my Canon EOS Kiss

sorry had to sneak in one dragonfly...but isn't it beautiful

This little guy is only a little bigger than a quarter but look how important he is....

Why I create (my new name Lorri Lee Glennon)

My photo
Hobbsville, North Carolina, United States
Having been a artist literally all my life, I love color and dimension.I learned to sew at age 10 , by age 13 started a stuffed animal business, which grew into a collectable Teddy Bear Business for 15 + years. I opened my own bead store specializing in Spontaneous Creation classes and love to teach everyone they could be creative and open the door to their imagination.I recently returned to one of my favorite art forms taking photographs my father gave me my first camera when I was a child and I have loved photography ever since. I took professional family portraits and weddings for the first 5 years living in the Outer Banks, I am now shooting Family portraits again and sharing my love of the Outer Banks through my blogs. Be creative, walk in faith and never give up....It all happens in God's time
