Happy Moments...come and gone.

10  years ago today I met the love of my life ...my John through a classified personal ad.

When we went out that night we both knew it was love at first sight,

I miss him more than words could ever express now as I did when I lost him in April.

But I am finding my new life with out him and that means getting rid of things
I just spent this week moving the contents of my storage unit I have had since september of 2005 , everything to reopen my store and fabrics galore to create with.  But I will be parting with it all starting next week.

Amazing once you resolve things have to be done you just do them.

A day of good memories and some sadness of missing a loved one! Sounds like an interesting story - personal ad? - I'm wondering which of you placed it and what did it say?

Good luck with your new endeavors!

the interesting thing about the ad was we had bith placed them he a month or so earlier and I had taken notice but he was 10 years older ...and I couldn't bring myself to answer,,,then my roomate made me put a ad in ..the opening line was "are you the soul at the end of my rainbow" and he answered and the rest as they say is history . He had lost his wife to cancer 8 months prior...

He had the bluest eyes you could ever imagine...and when I asked him what he looked like , he said people said he looked like Same Elliot and he did only better.

The funny thing was when his car pulled up to my apt for our first date I had remembered seeing that car so many times when I was driving around the beach and had memorized the license plate. no i don't know why. But as I said our first date it was love at first sight.

Having been a artist literally all my life, I love color and dimension.I learned to sew at age 10 , by age 13 started a stuffed animal business, which grew into a collectable Teddy Bear Business for 15 + years. I opened my own bead store specializing in Spontaneous Creation classes and love to teach everyone they could be creative and open the door to their imagination.I recently returned to one of my favorite art forms taking photographs my father gave me my first camera when I was a child and I have loved photography ever since. I took professional family portraits and weddings for the first 5 years living in the Outer Banks, I am now shooting Family portraits again and sharing my love of the Outer Banks through my blogs. Be creative, walk in faith and never give up....It all happens in God's time
