What I have been working on

This is pics of the peyote stitch bracelets I have been making to sell at the art shows It is done one bead at a time sewn with 30lb Spectra or Power pro fishing line so they last and last...Spectra is a far cry from the monofiliament we used to use in the OLD Days?? LOL...

It is the stuff they use for deep sea fishing nowadays and does not deteriotate like the mono stuff does.

They are all decked out with crystals, and sparkles of all kinds ...the Gold one has Discontinued Metalic Gold swarovski crystals on it...There is one with blue flowers I call forget-me-knots and another similiar one with pink flowers which I did not embellish the top of...I use what is called a 6 ought bead to create them so they are substantial but not heavy...
This is one of the styles I taught many classes in how to do at my bead store...they are a blast to make ...no patterns just colors colors colors everywhere...

I hope you enjoy seeing what I have been up too

They sell for between 35.00 and 100.00 great sparkle no one else has...

all one of a kind

Have a day full of blessings

Very cool. I need to try embellishing my beaded cuffs. Still working on colors. I'm afraid I'll be bored to tears if I only use one color. I'm like a magpie.

well if you look at my work you will see I put lots of strange colors together... I have one I Put a translucent yellow and purple lined bead together ...then has bangly drops on it...I think I have a pic will try and find it and put it on here.I have so many bead strands left over from my bead store and I was always pulling them from the wall and putting colors together in a bag for a future project...well now 4 years later they are finally getting done.

Just put them together you will be amazed at what works together.

Hi Lorri! Those are beautiful bracelets and they look so much fun to make! My fav is the bracelet with the forget-me-knots! All are so intricate and sweetly detailed! Wishing you continued luck on your sales! Thanks so much for your visit! I would love to see how you displayed the art quilts. It always makes me happy to know that something I make is out there in another home. Your balance word is perfect. Something we all need to find a place for. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hugs,

Lisa
Thank you for your wishes and words.

I am busy working on my art and creating is helping me find my balance. Its amazing how I can walk in life right now knowing things are going to work out despite the pain I feel.

Your treasures I bought...well they are all in a treasure box and when I need a uplift I go and get the box out and look and feel and admired them ...they can't help but bring a smile to your heart.

I love your new work too...and hope one day to be back to where I can again buy things.

Have a day full of blessings

Why I create (my new name Lorri Lee Glennon)

My photo
Hobbsville, North Carolina, United States
Having been a artist literally all my life, I love color and dimension.I learned to sew at age 10 , by age 13 started a stuffed animal business, which grew into a collectable Teddy Bear Business for 15 + years. I opened my own bead store specializing in Spontaneous Creation classes and love to teach everyone they could be creative and open the door to their imagination.I recently returned to one of my favorite art forms taking photographs my father gave me my first camera when I was a child and I have loved photography ever since. I took professional family portraits and weddings for the first 5 years living in the Outer Banks, I am now shooting Family portraits again and sharing my love of the Outer Banks through my blogs. Be creative, walk in faith and never give up....It all happens in God's time
